Grandview Vineyard
We were originally attracted to the Grandview Vineyard for its cool climate location. Located near the upper reaches of cultivation on the Rattlesnake Ridge, the site is ideal for ensuring long "hang time" for Merlot and Cabernet Franc, a practice which results in dark fruit flavors at lower sugar levels.
Owned and managed by brothers Andy "Junior" DenHoed and "Wild" Bill denHoed, and overseen by Viticulturalist Dan Nicklaus, the Grandview Vineyard embodies the best of what happens when cool climate meets expert grape growing.
In 2010 we chose to source fruit for our first ever Chardonnay from Grandview Vineyard.
