- Appellation (AVA): Columbia Valley
- Vineyards / Composition: Syrah (92%) - Wallula Vineyard, Viognier (8%) - Grandview

barrels. 25% new barrels.
- Wine notes: Inspired by the wines of the Cote Rotie, the upper Rhone Valley’s famous “Roasted Slope” this Syrah was “co-fermented” with the white grape Viogner. Rather than being blended together after fermentation, the two grapes are harvested and de-stemmed together. In the Cote Rotie, this process was developed, surprisingly, to darken the resulting wine. I Washington, where Syrahs tend to be dark by nature, we blend the two varieties floral aromas and flavors of stone fruits.
- Production: 192 cases
